On May 22, Lautner took to Instagram and talked about the negative comments he received after appearing on the Today Show with his wife, who also shares the same name, Taylor Dome. He also mentioned that he mostly ignores online comments, but it was shocking for him to read what people on the internet were saying about him. Critics claimed that the actor has aged like a raisin.

Taylor Lautner’s Instagram story on Thursday was more sort of a befitting reply to the trolls. In the story Lautner flaunted his biceps in a mirror selfie and looked awesome. The Twilight star was seen in a muscle tee and blue shorts and he showed off his toned muscles confidently before leaving out for a gym session. While the caption for his first story was “Let’s get it” hours later came up an another post-workout selfie captioned “Told ya.”
Lautner has always been a fit actor and we all do love him for relishing his six-packs in Twilight but off late spiteful comments from internet trolls made a negative impact on the actor. There were comments that read he “looks like old broccoli” and “didn’t age well.”
In response to the troll comments, Lautner said, “If this was 10 years ago, five years ago, maybe even two, three years ago, that really would have got under my skin.” “It would have caused me to want to just go in a hole and not go outside, definitely [not] do press and interviews and put myself in the position where I have to see that kind of stuff.”
But it seems that Lautner prefers his mental health more over people’s opinions and which is surely a great thought. He did not let the internet trolls affect his mental peace and rather preferred to share his progress in an indirect way and shared his positive physique via his Instagram story.
