‘That is F*cked Up’: Star-Lord Actor Chris Pratt Claims Media Unfairly Point Out Son’s Premature Birth, Calls News Outlets ‘Cringeworthy’
In November 2021, Chris Pratt posted a message on Instagram in which he praised his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger for giving him a “gorgeous healthy daughter”. He wrote, “She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes I put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that’s love!”
He received backlash as some claimed that the “healthy daughter” comment was a shocking dig towards his ex-wife, Anna Faris, with whom he shares 9½-year-old son Jack who was born prematurely and experienced numerous health issues.

Recently, Chris Pratt addressed the backlash he received in 2021 over his Instagram post
In a recent interview with Men’s Health, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor addressed the backlash he received in November 2021, stating that he “cried” and was extremely “bothered” by it. He said,
“I said something like, ‘Find someone who looks at you the way my wife looks at me.’ And then I gave her some sh*t in the thing and said, ‘But I love you. I’m so thankful for my wife – she gave me a beautiful, healthy daughter,’ And then a bunch of articles came out and said, ‘That’s so cringeworthy. I can’t believe Chris Pratt would thank her for a healthy daughter when his first child was born premature. That’s such a dig at his ex-wife.'”

He explained how the situation affected him
He expressed his concerns over his son who is currently 9 years old, he said,
“I’m like, That is f**ked up. My son’s gonna read that one day. He’s 9. And it’s etched in digital stone. It really f**king bothered me, dude. I cried about it. I was like, I hate that these blessings in my life are — to the people close to me — a real burden.”
He also shared a video on Instagram in which he said, “I went to bed last night really kind of upset and depressed and I woke up feeling crappy and I didn’t want to work out”.

The actor was previously married to Anna Faris for nine years
The Jurassic Park: Dominion star was married to Scary Movie star Anna Faris for nine years until they filed for a divorce in 2018. In 2012, the pair welcomed son Jack, who was born with severe brain bleeding and had to spend his first month in the NICU.
Last month, he announced the birth of their second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt.
