She said, “An idea continues to prevail: if one isn’t beautiful or doesn’t conform to the imposed standards of beauty, then they are considered imperfect. And that’s not the case.”

Pataky mentioned that there are instances when we feel low about ourselves. In such situations, we would compare ourselves, which would gradually make us insecure and frustrated. Alterations and filters have become common on social media, where people are embarrassed to show their true features. She stated that becoming a victim of this process would ruin the self-esteem of particularly young people.
