The founder and CEO of Skinnygirl Bethenny Frankel explained that Kylie Jenner’s new makeup kit is a scam. The reality TV star took to her Instagram to expose Kylie Jenner’s new “Birthday PR Box” drop which costs $175 and comes in a box that honors the model’s 25th birthday. She pointed out in the video that the products in the box are the same exact products featured in the model’s $58 “Birthday Bundle,” so consumers basically pay an extra $117 for “a box that you’re going to throw in the garbage.” Plus, one cannot return products so Kylie Cosmetics is scamming in broad daylight.
Bethenny Frankel exposed Kylie Cosmetics
TV personality Bethenny Frankel posted a video on her Instagram explaining Kylie Cosmetics’ scam. She captioned the video, “Anyone in the market for a $117 cardboard box???” She explained that the contents of Kylie Jenner‘s new $175 “Birthday PR Box” is exactly the same products you get in the model’s $58 “Birthday Bundle,” so buyers pay $117 extra just for a special cardboard box. She said, “They are the same except for the box. That’s a scam. How stupid do we have to be?” She joked that the box is useless and she might get a hamster just to put it in there.
Kylie Jenner has been accused of recycling the same products in the past
Earlier this year, people on social media criticized Kylie Jenner’s “Valentine” makeup collection by saying that she is selling the same products that she has used in the past but in a different box. Many people said it is the same colors in new packaging and how wasteful the whole process is. Some people have also claimed that her products are not of good quality considering the hefty price tag.
