Actor and professional wrestler Dwayne Johnson has built an extensive career in both the film industry and professional WWE worlds. During the late 1990s and early 2000s, his charismatic and electrifying persona, The Rock, was sensational, making him one of the iconic figures of wrestling.

Later, he made his acting debut in The Mummy Returns and starred in numerous successful movies like Jumanji, The Scorpion King, and the Fast and Furious film series.

Last week, the Musée Grévin in Paris unveiled the wax figure of the Black Adam star via Instagram, which depicts the actor with his arms crossed in blue slacks and a golf shirt, a black belt, and sneakers.

His face is smeared with a mixture of a smile and a smirk. The funny part is that fans, instead of enjoying the figure, have gone frenzy over pointing out that it never looked like the star.

The Rock’s Counter Part is called as Vin ‘The Rock’ Diesel’.

Many of them sneaked into the comment section of the account and started roasting the figure, raving that it looks like “Mr. Clean or Vin Diesel”, suggesting the statue is a fusion of Rock and Vin Diesel. And one witty individual even dubbed it as “That’s Vin ‘The Rock’ Diesel”.

Another commentator asserted that this looks nothing like the Fast & Furious alum. Instead of dropping in a wrestling-related pun, the person wrote a movie-related quip:

“Yikes! That is not the Rock, maybe his stuntman lol,”

Some have playfully asked about statue’s skin tone, which appears lighter than the original tone of the star.
“Who is this because uhhhh… You do know he’s Samoan and black right lol?” Another one humorously asked, “Why would you white wax (wash) him?”

Another one teased, “Rock Samoan/African American but looked like an Eastern European plumber”.
The museum had been building anticipation for the wax figure’s unveiling on social media. Previously, they shared a video showing how Dwayne Johnson’s tattoos are meticulously recreated in the sculpture, with a caption emphasizing how carefully the figure is modeled.
“A lot of research was needed to make them perfectly match those from The Rock.”

But in contrast, fans commented, “They turned The Rock into Stone Cold Steve Rockstin 🤣🤣”.  The other one goes, “That’s not the Rock that’s the Pebble”.

Dwayne Johnson was impressed by his figure at Madame Tussauds

The Jumanji actor is far from any actor who received such a tribute like this, which is accompanied by a series of witty quips.  Meanwhile, the actor has another counterpart at the Madame Tussauds where fans argue it for better likeness. The star itself was impressed by the making when it was completed in 2022. He even surprised the fans who were taking pictures in front of the figure.

Same time, Zendaya’s counterpart in Madame Tussauds hasn’t turned out as well and has become the subject of trolls. However, not all wax figures need to be successful in capturing the complete essence of the person. The wax sculpture of Loki star, Tom Hiddleston at the Tussauds is described as lifelike and accurate.
The Rock is yet to comment on his latest figure, as the actor is presumably busy with the new endeavor, he launched alongside Oprah Winfrey to help the Hawaiians affected by recent wildfires. And it is uncertain that, after all, these slams on his wax figure, will possibly have any makeover.
