The Batman: Zack Snyder Approves of the Dark Knight’s New Film
Following the release of the second trailer for Matt Reeves’ The Batman, director Zack Snyder praised the upcoming live-action Dark Knight picture. “This is amazing,” Snyder said on Twitter, accompanied with a link to the teaser, which debuted at DC FanDome. He also complimented The Batman following FanDome in 2020, saying that the new take on the character was “the correct way.”

Snyder’s History with Batman:
Snyder has a history with Batman, having previously worked with him in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Both films starred Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader, and he was slated to direct, produce, co-write, and appear in The Batman before opting out. Soon after, Reeves was hired to rewrite the script, taking the picture outside of the main DCEU narrative and concentrating on the early days of Batman’s crimefighting career. The film is anticipated to emphasize the character’s detective side more than its predecessors, with comics like Year One and The Long Halloween listed as influences.
History Of Batman’s Appearence In Snyder’s Movies:
Although Batman has starred in several of Snyder’s recent DCEU films, The Batman will be the legendary character’s first standalone live-action picture since filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises in 2012. However, the current teaser for The Batman appears to indicate that the next film will be the darkest version of the Caped Crusader yet. The clip revealed a particularly grim take on The Riddler, who some fans have speculated is The Joker in disguise, as well as a considerably darker bat signal intended to be more than just a call but a warning to Gotham’s criminal underworld.
Cast Of Batman & Release Date Of The Movie:
Pattinson is joined in The Batman by Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/The Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon. Batman will be released in theatres on March 4, 2022.
