He played Phillip Lip Gallagher, the eldest son of the highly dysfunctional Gallagher clan on the show. The 32-year-old has returned on the highly anticipated second season of his Hulu hit The Bear. The actor plays hef Carmen Carmy Berzatto on the show. He received a SAG Award, Golden Globe, and Critics Choice Award for best actor in a comedy series for The Bear. While Jeremy Allen White’s professional life looks all sunny, his personal life doesn’t seem that bright. The actor recently went through a divorce from his estranged wife, Addison Timlin, and her Instagram post has devasted the actor.

Jeremy Allen White has made a name in the entertainment industry by starring in The Bear. The actor reprised his famous role second season of his Hulu hit, which debuted Thursday. He won a Golden Globe Award for the first season. The 32-year-old’s professional life looks stable, the same can’t be said about his personal life.
White and Addison Timlin called it quits after three years of marriage. The former couple filed for divorce last month. They wed in 2019 and shares two daughters. With The Bear star dealing with of pain of heartbreak, his ex-wife’s social media post has devasted the actor.
Timlin shared a post with her children on Instagram on the occasion of Mother’s Day. The 31-year-old actress called herself a single mom in the post and wrote about the challenges of parenting without a witness at her side.
She wrote,
“Being a single mom is not how I pictured it. It is so f–king hard. It is all out covered in s–t crying on the floor kick you in the shins screaming with no sound coming out hard.”
A few hours later, the Californication actress twisted her caption and changed it to, “Co-parent is not how I pictured it.”
As the post went live, White was devasted by Timlin calling herself a single mom. A source said,
“Addison changed her Instagram post because it wasn’t accurate, a lot of people were like ‘what are you talking about?”

In the divorce filing, the actress asked for primary physical custody of their daughters and requested the court to award White visitation. However, Jeremy Allen White, last week asked for joint custody of his kids. The former couple hasn’t revealed the reason for their separation.

Jeremy Allen White and Addison Timlin have put an end to their relationship. The former couple starred alongside each other in the 2008 drama Afterschool. They have been part of the Hollywood industry for a long time.
White is most known for his roles as a hot chef in FX’s blockbuster The Bear and as the bad boy intellectual Phillip Lip Gallagher in Showtime’s Shameless. Timlin is also an actor and has starred in television shows like Californication and films such as Little Sister and That Awkward Moment.
The duo got engaged in April 2019, and in October of the same year, they got married. They’ve since become parents to two daughters: Ezer, born in 2018, and Dolores, born in 2020. The 31-year-old actress filed for divorce in May 2023 after just under three years of marriage. She hasn’t stated the reason for their breakup.
