The Beatles Singer Came Up With a Ridiculous Excuse To Help Woody Harrelson Get Out of Trouble After Actor Attacked a Photographer
One of the most talented actors in the business, Woody Harrelson, has appeared in several films, such as The Messenger, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, No Country for Old Men, and others. He was praised greatly for portraying the role of Haymitch Abernathy, a fan favorite in Jennifer Lawrence’s The Hunger Games trilogy.
The actor, who is well-known for having quite a few celebrity acquaintances, told of a situation in which The Beatles singer helped him in getting out of a difficult circumstance.
Paul McCartney came up with a good line for Woody Harrelson to get out of a situation
Actor Woody Harrelson, who has been friends with The Beatles singer Paul McCartney for a while, now has an incident where he looked up to the singer to get out of a troublesome situation.
The actor had punched a TMZ photographer at the La Guardia Airport back in 2009 and the reporter filed a complaint with police claiming that the actor’s push had damaged his camera Harrelson released a statement later. He said via CNN,
“I wrapped a movie called ‘Zombieland,’ in which I was constantly under assault by zombies, then flew to New York, still very much in character. With my daughter at the airport, I was startled by a paparazzo, who I quite understandably mistook for a zombie.”
The actor later shared during an interview with EW via Page Six that after the incident he felt the need to have a good line to explain his action, which was when he turned toward The Beatles singer;
“I went to my favorite restaurant in New York and Paul McCartney was there. [McCartney] was like, ‘Just say you mistook him for a zombie.’ I had the press release written before I went to bed.”
The actor was with his daughter at the time of the incident and had mentioned in 2012 during an interview at The Howard Stern Show that it was Paul McCartney who had taught him how to sail. Woody noted that McCartney and his wife are really cool people to hang out with.

Recently, Screen Daily confirmed that Lionsgate International is set to launch AFM sales next week for a third of the Now You See Me film series with director Ruben Fleischer, Alex Kurtzman, and Bobby Cohen returning as producers.
The reports noted that the franchise that has grossed over $700 million worldwide is going to feature new characters like Horsemen along with original characters also reprising their roles. According to the reports as of now, Woody Harrelson, Morgan Freeman, and Jesse Eisenberg are confirmed to reprise their characters.
Jesse Eisenberg shared in 2016 with NME about their process,
“We did a magic boot camp two weeks before shooting and tried to learn as much as possible. We worked with some of the best illusionists in the business – Keith Barry, Andrew Gikh and Blake Void.”
