The Big Bang Theory Star Had No Idea the Show Would Give Her Such a Dark Ending: “It’s hilarious”
There were many incredible characters in the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory. Even the side actors were loved by the viewers. Every The Big Bang Theory character had a relatable and funny element that made people fall in love with the sitcom even more.
The four lead men were definitely the epicenter of the sitcom but side actors like Stuart Bloom, Mayim Bialik, and Laura Spencer were also applauded for their incredible performance in the sitcom.

Laura Spencer talks about her character from The Big Bang Theory
Laura Spencer played the character of Emily in The Big Bang Theory. While talking about her character that was Raj’s lover in the sitcom she explained she had no idea how this character would transform. Her character was funny and looked good with Raj who was played by Kunal Nayyar.
In the sitcom, the story ignites more interest when Raj and Emily’s first meeting doesn’t go well but soon they start dating. Spencer’s character in the sitcom was later turned transformed into a dark personality. Spencer said she didn’t expect the character to be so dark. While talking about her character Emily in an interview, Spencer said,
“It’s hilarious because, when I first auditioned, my character didn’t have any inkling of being dark in any way. I just think it’s really funny that they ran with it.”
Spencer explained that every time she got the script she found some changes in the character. Those changes made people hard to understand if Emily was good or bad in the sitcom.
Laura Spencer said she didn’t about her character’s transformation
In the same interview, Spencer explained how she had to change her personality element every time according to the script. In a few episodes, she came out as the good character of the sitcom but sometimes she was also the bad person. Spencer expressed she had no idea how her character will transform, she said,
“Now people are wondering, What is up with this Emily girl? Is she good? Is she bad? I don’t know anything, either. I get the script and find a new element of her character every time. It’s been really fun.”
The makers and the writers kept people guessing a lot of things about Spencer’s character. She said it was hilarious how the makers gave a dark ending to her character. While talking about how was her overall experience on the sets of The Big Bang Theory, Spencer said,
“I feel very fortunate to be playing a strong, independent, smart woman on a TV show. I think it is really cool that she speaks her mind, that she’s opinionated, that she has a sense of humor.”
She further added,
“They are so loving and supportive through the whole taping. That’s just been a real joy to see and experience.”
The hit sitcom which was loved by fans all around the world said goodbye to the screen in 2019 after 7 seasons. The star cast and the makers received a lot of love since the shoe began in 2007.
