Erin Moriarty Talks About Starlight’s Angle In The Boys Season 4
Erin Moriarty-led Starlight has always wanted to be a part of the Seven by Vought. However, after coming across the real face of the Superhero group in the third season, Starlight joins The Boys in their fight against the Homelander. Recently, the actor shared an important update on Instagram which indirectly speaks about her character’s development in the fourth season of The Boys.
The actor revealed Starlight has entered her vengeance era and would not stop before defeating the evil superhero. While talking about the character development of Starlight, the actor revealed that it was the best character arc for her character. She stated-
“I can’t see it getting any better.”
The creator of The Boys, Eric Kripke spoke to Variety in 2002 about Annie and Maeve. He said-
“We didn’t want to kill Maeve and fall into the tropes of gay characters and bisexual characters in shows getting killed. We wanted to do the opposite of that and send her off and give her a happy ending with Elena. The best way to do that was, well, take away her powers, and she’s not useful in the fight anymore.
He further explained-
And we did that because Annie can’t really grow into her own until all the characters that are around to protect her are gone. It was important for her next step for her mentor characters and her protector characters to go away. And so it’s only up to Annie. There’s no one left but Annie. So what is she going to do?”
Season four of The Boys will debut on Amazon Prime Video, where the first three seasons are currently streaming. Check out the official trailer of The Boys Season 4 linked below.
