Jada Smith and Will Smith have been married since 1997, and have dedicated a talk show, Red Table Talk to their marriage. They keep their relationship radically open in the talk show and discuss every little thing about their marriage. The actress mentioned how she was criticized for calling her romantic relationship with August Alsina an “entanglement” rather than an “affair”, in her talk show.
The actress has faced a lot of criticism for her romantic relationship with the singer, Alsina. Smith believes her affair was overhyped and turned into gossip, mainly because of racial discrimination and prejudices. It’s not just her, every member of her family seems to go through similar situations. Therefore, the actress had to develop an unconventional way of tackling nuisance and keeping her family protected.
She mentioned even her Alopecia diagnosis and hair loss were talked about with great interest. Even her husband, Will Smith became a villain for defending his wife after a joke made against her on live television. Speaking softly, Jada Smith shared, “I learned a lot about detachment. And I learned a deeper beauty within myself, being able to let my hair go”. She further shared how her diagnosis has been a great teacher to her and has allowed her to dig deep and find beauty within, despite all odds.
