The Flash Confirms Ezra Miller Movie Has Wiped Out 3 Snyderverse Heroes from DCU
The Flash is one of DC’s most well-known characters, and Ezra Miller will play the lead role in the eponymous film for the first time. While few characters are returning to DCU, a new promo has confirmed that three major superheroes will be MIA.

Before even being released, The Flash has already generated buzz among DC fans. The trailer of the movie was highly praised by the audience. Ezra Miller is finally getting their solo film. After its test screening, the upcoming DCU picture has already garnered praise for being among the finest superhero films ever made. The Flashpoint-inspired plot revolves around Barry Allen using the Speed Force to attempt to stop his mother from getting killed but accidentally changes history.
A new promo of The Flash produced for international audiences made its way on Twitter and it revealed grave details about the upcoming film. The promo shows the unforeseen repercussions of Barry Allen’s (Ezra Miller) attempt to change history. The Flash, while changing history, unintentionally eliminated at least three of the DC Universe’s most recognizable figures from existence.
In the promo, Allen says,
“I went back in time to save my mom but I really broke the universe. There’s no Aquaman. There’s no Wonder Woman. There’s no Superman.”

The promo then focuses on the costumed heroes present in The Flash’s reimagined world where Sasha Calle is Supergirl, and Michael Keaton is Batman. The fans will need to wait for the movie to arrive in theaters to know the damage Ezra Miller’s Flash made and how he will reverse it.
Ezra Miller’s The Flash will have a sequel
The speculation around The Flash‘s sequel has begun as DCEU prepares for its theatrical release. The conversation about the sequel is a significant one, and director Andy Muschietti confirmed Ezra Miller will reprise their role as the Scarlet Speedster. Further reports stated that the script writing for The Flash 2 is already completed by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick.
The reports confirm the return of Michael Keaton as Batman and other characters including Supergirl (Sasha Calle) for the sequel. Ben Affelck’s Batman will also be back in the follow-up to The Flash, as the plot introduces the idea of the multiverse.
The Flash lands in theaters on June 16, 2023.
