The Flash Post-Credit Scenes Explained
End-credits scenes in superhero movies are not a new thing as both MCU and DCU have been using the concept in almost all of their recent films and shows. Similarly, The Flash’s end-credit scenes have generated much hype among its fans. The film was earlier premiered at CinemaCon 2023 where to avoid early spoilers the true ending and the end-credits scene were supposedly skipped.
In the end-credits scene, there is the reunion of Barry Allen and Arthur Curry. Towards the end of the film, it is evident that Barry requires a friend to talk to and so he reaches out to his team member Arthur Curry, popularly called Aquaman who is played by Jason Momoa. In the scene, they are seen leaving a bar and while Allen is stone-sober, credits to his lightning-fast metabolism, Curry is totally intoxicated. The scene continues further with Barry telling Arthur about the different Batman variants out there in the multiverse. Toward the end, Arthur passes on his Atlantean ring to Barry for selling it in exchange for more alcohol.
However, Jason Momoa was among one of the many great cameo appearances in The Flash. After losing his powers Barry realizes that the new timeline created by him has paved the way for the return of General Zod who ruthlessly massacred a decent portion of Metropolis’ population. Upon his realization, Barry tries to reassemble the Justice League in this new dimension.
The task proved to be a tough job as most of the Justice League characters from this dimension had either completely disappeared, was not yet born, or never became heroes.
