Ezra Miller has been involved in several legal issues since 2020, including accusations of assault, burglary, and disorderly behavior, among others. Despite all of that, Miller’s film career did not suffer in the way that someone in their circumstances might have anticipated. The actor made headlines for their various controversies. However, the 30-year-old actor is soon set to embark on a solo adventure with their character Flash.

Even though the We Need to Talk About Kevin actor brought their troubles on the set of The Flash, director Andy Muschietti had no hard feelings. Muschietti shared his thoughts on working with Miller on the last episode of Crew Call.

The director, based on his prior collaborations with Miller, has always been impressed by their acting chops, but the director wasn’t aware of Miller’s comedic side until they first met. Muschietti said,

“It wasn’t until I met them, that I realized that they were an impeccable comedian as well. Given that there’s lot of levity and humor in this story, there’s this odd couple we created with the original Barry (Allen) and the young Barry, and they have these differences which makes them a couple at odds.”

The director also stated that The Flash star showed dedication and professionalism while working on the movie. He added,

“[Working with Miller is] definitely one of my best experiences with an actor in my whole career. Truly the commitment, the discipline, the humor, the fun, the excitement of doing this for them; for them it was an opportunity. For years, Ezra has been an obscure actor, because they were doing a lot of independent movies. This is a movie that portrays their full abilities as a performer.”

Due to legal troubles, Ezra Miller has been avoiding press tours for The Flash, but the actor will be present for the Los Angeles premiere of the movie this month.
