‘The Flash’ Will Not Feature Thomas Wayne’s Batman
Michael Keaton’s return to the role of Bruce Wayne and Batman was huge news for everyone.
His part in ‘The Flash’ has huge implications for the DCEU and superhero films, as a whole. The deal is still to be finalised but things look promising for Keaton to step back into one of the roles that made him.
However, recently, people have suggested that Jeffrey Dean Morgan was set to return as a Flashpoint version of Thomas Wayne/Batman in ‘The Flash’ movie.
Then, things got even more confusing. Maybe Michael Keaton will be playing Thomas Wayne instead?
However, THR has indicated that the Flashpoint version of Batman won’t be included in the script for ‘The Flash’, whatsoever. If this were to be true, Keaton would indeed just be playing his original version of Bruce Wayne.

THR also confirmed Keaton would be suiting up as Batman – the first time we will have seen an older Batman still protecting Gotham City.
Horror director, Andy Muschietti is still onboard to direct ‘The Flash’. Before that, many other names were attached to the project. The list previously included Rick Famuyiwa, Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.
The Flash is currently aiming to release in cinemas on June 3, 2022.
