The Marvels Cast Salary: Brie Larson, Iman Vellani and Samuel L. Jackson’s Salary For Their MCU Roles
The movie The Marvels starring Brie Larson alongside numerous other Hollywood stars has been released recently. Fans are excited to discover what Captain Marvel and her superhero team have been up to. The movie serves as a sequel to the 2019 film Captain Marvel which followed the titular superhero’s adventures while Earth is caught in a conflict between two alien civilizations.
The Marvels also stands as a continuation of the 2022 Marvel miniseries Ms. Marvel which starred Iman Vellani as the titular superhero. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is known for its engaging plotlines that help it earn millions at the box office which is a requirement if the massive salaries it pays to its stars are to be considered and the actors in The Marvels are no exception to this.

The Marvels’ Cast’s Salary Is Quite High
The Marvels follows Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel as they try to deal with their respective enemies while swapping places every time they use their powers. A tear at a jump point in space has caused this anomaly which causes the three superheroes to switch places every time one of them uses their powers.
Apart from Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani, The Marvels also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, Park Seo-joon, Zenobia Shroff, and Mohan Kapur among others. In the movie, Samuel L. Jackson is seen as Nick Fury who has been a recurring character in the MCU throughout the years.
According to Showbiz Galore, the three lead actresses, Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani have been paid $5 million, $1 million, and $550,000 respectively. Samuel L. Jackson has received the highest salary of all with a whopping $7 million.
Meanwhile, Zawe Ashton who portrays Supremor Darr-Benn has bagged a salary of $250,000, and South Korean actor Park Seo-joon pocketed $200,000 for appearing as Carol Danvers’ husband. Zenobia Shroff and Mohan Kapur, who play the roles of Ms. Marvel‘s parents have been paid $150,000 and $120,000 respectively.
Brie Larson Believes Captain Marvel Is Her Most Dynamic Role
MCU’s ever-expanding universe has introduced many new characters and the proper utilization of the Multiverse has also opened several doors for the universe to explore different plotlines. Introduced in 2019, Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel has become one of fans’ most beloved superheroes.
In an Instagram video posted by Marvel Studios, Brie Larson expressed her excitement about reprising her character as Captain Marvel, saying:
“Trying on the Captain Marvel suit for the first time was absolutely surreal. I remember feeling this jolt in my heart, giving me the most dynamic character that I have had the chance to play. Too many things to say that are the best part to playing Carol Danvers.”

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige who has played a major role in starting the MCU also shared his views about the superhero, saying:
“Captain Marvel is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Universe. One of the highlights of my career was introducing Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.”
The director of The Marvels Nia DaCosta also did not hold back her excitement about seeing Carol Danvers do things that she has not done before. The Marvels is now in theatres for fans to watch.
