“The more I think that it’s evil”: Megyn Kelly’s Brutal Remarks on Kim Kardashian Make Erin Moriarty’s Plastic Surgery Controversy Look Almost Trivial
American journalist and media personality Megyn Kelly is famous for her controversial opinions on air. She does not hold back when it comes to people she is not fond of. She rose to meteoric fame as a talk show host for Fox News from 2004 to 2017. She also had a successful run as the correspondent and host of NBC News from 2017–2018 before being canceled due to a segment discussing blackface where she defended doing it for Halloween.
She came under a lot of fire and since then she has been hosting a live daily show called The Megyn Kelly Show on SiriusXM.
Megyn Kelly has not hidden the fact that she does not see eye-to-eye with the Kardashians, especially the most famous of them all, Kim Kardashian. Time and time again, she has attacked Kim for her plastic surgery and alleged vanity, which she thinks sets a bad example for women across the world, who are being taught to focus more on how they look and not on what they say.
Megyn Kelly Slams The Kardashian Family In The Media
In a 2022 podcast episode, Megyn Kelly ripped the Kardashians a new one, especially Kim Kardashian. In the episode (via the New York Post), she called them a “force of evil” because they constantly flaunt their “unrivaled vanity,” which has started a societal trend of “focus on one’s self” and “ego” in the pursuit of “clicks” and “likes.”
“They didn’t do it by themselves. But more than any other, they’ve had a terrible effect in that lane. And I do blame them.”
Megyn Kelly also not-so-fondly recalled her experience interviewing the Kardashians in 2017, when she was hosting Megan Kelly Today on NBC.
“I interviewed them and I said, ‘Are you a force for good or are you a force for evil?’ And they gave me their answer. I don’t think this is healthy and that’s why I object to — it’s their disgusting vanity which is spread like wildfire in our society. The selfie culture is abhorrent to me. I think that’s what I’m responding to as opposed to some titillation from a beautiful woman here and there.”
However, Megyn Kelly seems to hate a specific Kardashian more than the rest and it is none other than the SKIMS mogul Kim Kardashian. Throughout the years, she has made some brutal remarks at the socialite’s expense.
Megyn Kelly Dragging Kim Kardashian In The Media: A History
This is not the first time Megyn Kelly has openly thrown shade at Kim Kardashian. In fact, Kelly kicked her to the curb when she was at her lowest. She went on to say that she had no sympathy for Kim Kardashian’s “enormous big a**” even though she got brutally booed at the Los Angeles Rams game. In a 2022 episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, Kelly does not hold back at all when she says (via. New York Post),
“I do not feel empathetic toward Kim Kardashian. I’ve been going on a tear over her for the past couple of days because every time I open my paper, there she is again, and I find it deeply alarming. What are we celebrating? Her enormous fake ass? I don’t think she is a bad person but I hate what she’s come to stand for and what she represents.”
She again came for Kim Kardashian after watching a classic scene from Keeping Up With The Kardashians where the Kardashian mogul is seen taking her glam squad to the DMV to get a driver’s license photo. Megyn Kelly fumed in rage as she pointed out how the Kardashian is not setting a good example for young women and questioned her contribution to the world (via. New York Post).
“Oh my god, that is stomach-turning. She’s all about appearances. That’s the only thing that matters to her, that’s it. Even her billion-dollar brand is all about sucking in your fat so you can look better. That’s her contribution to the world. I’m not saying it’s bad, but that’s where she’s making her money.”

She further dragged Kim Kardashian, saying,
“I’m not saying it’s bad, but that’s where she’s making her money –looking at herself, and encouraging young girls in America and around the world to look at themselves and have other people look at them instead of listen to them. Because when you listen for 20 seconds, you’re revolted at the banal emptiness that is the shell of that woman.”
Megyn Kelly then went on to mock Kim Kardashian’s mother and her law degree, calling it “fake.“
“She had a a mother who fed her to the wolves. Her fake law degree, which she didn’t get, was just a cover to make it seem like she was making an effort to be an intellectual, which she’s not and never will be. She’s about vapid vanity, and I object on so many different levels.”
Truly, these two can be seen as the arch nemesis of each other. However, Kim Kardashian is far from being fazed by what she thinks of her. In an interview with ET, she pointed out how everyone has their own opinion and their own way of living life. She also believes people should be entitled to live their lives as they please. She stressed that she does not promote anything but is rather simply trying to live her life. Kris Jenner also chimed in and gave her two cents, claiming Kelly’s controversial opinions about her family were not “fair.”
