The Post-Credit Scenes Of Marvel’s Eternals Explained
Eternals by Marvel has finally hit the theatres after a lot of delays as the film was confirmed to release in the Marvel Cinematic Universe a few years ago. An unknown property for most Marvel fans, this will be a major departure for Marvel Studios in terms of bringing in characters and teams to their expanding universe, marking a battle and getting the audiences excited about a superhero that no one knew. The film has been released and despite its bad reviews – a first for Marvel Studios – getting the worst Rotten Tomatoes score to date for a Marvel film. However, the film is on its way to box office success and ends with even more expansions for the future of the MCU.

Marvel’s Eternals Has A Surprise Conclusion
To begin with, Marvel’s Eternals has a peculiar conclusion for a Marvel film – ending on a cliffhanger. After preventing Tiamut’s birth and stopping the Emergence, the Eternals are quite unsure about what to do on Earth beyond continuing to live as they were. A few find themselves re-possessed by Arishem, getting plucked from various places on Earth, all while their loved ones watch the celestial enter and take them. Due to this, only Thena, Makkari, and Druig appear on Domo, traveling the universe to find their friends and other Eternals.
This is where the mid-credits scene happens.
As the three think about their next move and what should be done next, they get interrupted by lights as two figures appear on the ship. The first of the two is Pip the Troll, voiced by Patton Oswalt, who heralds the arrival of another Eternal, Eros, Thanos’ brother, played by Harry Styles. The two offer help ahead of Eternals’ journey, something that will lead into a new Marvel adventure, perhaps a sequel to Eternals.
The post-credits scene for Eternals is a bit more straightforward, teasing a huge step for the MCU. In the scene, Dane Whitman, who played by Kit Harrington, previously teased the complicated story of his family, opening the box containing The Ebony Blade. Before he grabs it, a voice asks him if he’s sure about being ready for it. It’s unclear whose voice it is, but our guess is Jeffrey Wright as The Watcher but it could also be Blade or Kang. After this, a title card saying, “Eternals will return” appears.
