Spider-Man has been the current hot topic for the past few weeks. This was mainly due to the disappointing Sony-Disney studio split. Tom Holland’s Spider-man almost exited the MCU movie series due to the conflict. The fandom went into a frenzy with a ‘Storm Sony’ to save Spider-Man event. Recently, Peter Parker is back in the MCU with a Spider web. The culmination of MCU’s Phase 3, Far From Home introduced the concept of the multi-verse. Before that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse gave us a brilliant mix of Spider-Men who walk the different realms and alternate realities.

Tommy Wiseau’s Wish

Tommy Wiseau, the director of 2003’s infamous film The Room, wants to helm a revival of Sam Raimi’s canceled Spider-Man 4. On Twitter, Wiseau shared a fake poster featuring the series’ iconic font and spider-logo, captioning it, “Spider-Man 4 – A Tommy Wiseau Film.” The tweet may be teasing a spiritual successor to Tommy Wiseau’s The Dark Knight, in which the director collaborated with the Nerdist on a parody of Christopher Nolan’s superhero classic.

Wiseau has a comedic social media presence. Hence, making it pretty clear that he was just fooling around. Sony recently introduced mainstream audiences to plot the concept of the Spider-Verse. The Oscar-winning film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is one of the greatest animated Spider-man films of all time. Though, Tommy Wiseau can definitely do a Spider-man voiceover.

Spider-man 4 Rumours

Raimi’s Spider-Man 4 comice adaptation rumors surfaced online over the summer. Marvel’s social media pages posted the number “4” made out of spider webs. These rumors were quickly put to rest. It was discovered that the post was actually a countdown of J.J. and Henry Abraham’s ongoing Spider-Man series. Tommy Wiseau is best known for 2003’s The Room, a film considered among the worst that the medium has to offer.
