“There was no cheating”: Sam Asghari Refutes Infidelity and Violence Claims Against Britney Spears
Sam Asghari and Britney Spears’ decision to part ways after dating for a very long time and getting married for 14 months shocked everyone because it was well-known that Spears’ only source of support at the moment was her now-estranged husband, who had always stood by her side and supported her unconditionally.
Sam Asghari reportedly filed for divorce, and the divorce decree lists July 28th, 2023 as the date of separation. This indicates that the pair had been living apart before deciding that it was best for them to go their separate ways. There are speculations that Asghari is attempting to negotiate the prenup agreement with the musician using his leverage over her.
Britney Spears felt Sam Asghari’s love was not ‘unconditional’
Britney Spears has been under public scrutiny since she stepped into the industry and it never stopped; whether it’s about her music, her mental health challenges, her conservatorship, or her relationships. But if there is one thing that has stayed true all these years, it is her wanting to have someone to love her unconditionally, which she thought Sam Asghari did until he did not.
A source shared with Page Six that Spears wanted a fairytale and she did not get it, she felt that the actor whom she married in June 2022 at her Thousand Oaks house in California had not loved her unconditionally and she felt let down. The source added,
“Anyone would feel let down when your partner is not providing for you in the way you feel you need to be provided for. She booked great, high-end vacations and paid for everything, they went everywhere on a private jet.”
It was earlier reported that people close to her feel that their divorce is the right thing for her and even though she is going through a lot of emotions at the moment, she will be better.

Sam Asghari would ‘disappear’ on Britney Spears ‘for months’
It was known that Sam Asghari wanted to establish himself as an actor in the industry and had been trying to do whatever he could to land good roles in the movie, but this dedication was starting to hamper his relationship with the singer. A source close to the couple noted,
“He was not super present. You only have to ask where he was when Britney was filming all her Instagram videos? He would just disappear for months to go filming and she would be left all alone. There were times when he would just get up and go.”
The news of their divorce also includes infidelity and violence at home, rumors where Asghari claims that the singer cheated on him with a house staff and he has proof of that, in addition to the fact that she attacked him when he was asleep and left him with a black eye. However, the source notes that nothing like what is being claimed ever happened; they said,
“There was no cheating. And he’s 6ft 2 and she’s 5ft 2, so how could she attack him? The honest truth of it is that it’s complicated, this wasn’t a whiplash decision, it’s been in the works for the past month.”
A source who attended the wedding in June 2022 said that they witnessed her struggle with emotions on her wedding day as well as that she was making odd faces while taking her vows. It has now been told that her estranged family has reached out to the singer to offer support for her father, who brought her into conservatorship in 2008.
Was Britney Spears blindsided by Sam Asghari’s divorce filing?
Britney Spears took to her social media to finally break her silence on the divorce by sharing that she is a ‘little shocked’ but she is not going to explain why because it’s nobody’s business, adding that she couldn’t take the pain anymore.
The singer said she has been playing it strong for way too long and her social media may seem perfect, but it’s far from reality and she knows that everyone knows that. She added,
“You’re supposed to be loved unconditionally … not under conditions! So I will be as strong as I can and do my best! And I’m actually doing pretty damn good! Anyways, have a good day and don’t forget to smile!”
It was also reported that the former couple had cut off all communication between them, as they had been communicating via lawyers and representatives. The rumors of the actor trying to threaten the singer to negotiate the prenup agreement were going on too strongly but it was later denied by his representative who said it was not true, adding that Sam Asghari would always love and respect her.
According to sources, considering the prenup agreement, Sam Asghari gets nothing.
