What did Sienna Miller say in the interview?
In her new interview with British Vogue, Sienna Miller mentioned how her perspective was shaken after an incident with a broadway executive. She was told by a producer to “f*ck off” when she asked for equal pay to her male co-star on a Broadway production. While Miller didn’t want to name the Broadway producer so as not to be rude, she’s only starred on Broadway in Cabaret (2014) and After Miss Julie (2009).
“I said to the producer, who was extremely powerful, it’s not about money — it’s about fairness and respect, thinking they’d come back and say, ‘Of course, of course.’ But they didn’t,”
Miller said “They just said, ‘Well f*ck off then.’” Needless to say, she defined it as a pivotal moment in her life. She claims for it to be a “pivotal moment” in her career because at the time she “felt terrible about [her]self and embarrassed.”
