Thor 4 Teaser: Yondu’s Arrow Now Used by Kraglin
With the official release of Thor: Love and Thunder’s teaser, several possibilities and rumors are taking an upper hand. In the first 30 seconds of the teaser, one can see Kraglin (Sean Gunn) charging into the fray on the right. The Ravager, armed with a handgun and dressed in a trench coat, also seems to be carrying the fin Yondu used in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. However, the role and usage of the fin is still unclear. One cannot comment on whether or not it will be used to control Yondu’s arrow in the film.

Yondu Udonta (Michael Rooker) has long been the only owner of the Yaka Arrow, as seen in Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It was his weapon of choice, and he utilized it to lead his Ravagers to numerous lucrative possibilities. Yondu gave his life to save his adopted son, Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), leaving the Yaka Arrow without a master for the time being. That was until Peter gave the arrow to Kraglin Obfonteri (Sean Gunn), Yondu’s second in command. The extended fin was destroyed when the Ravager commander was cremated, but Peter Quill claims that the pieces of Yondu’s original fin were preserved and might be reconstructed. Star-Lord gives Kraglin the arrow, indicating Yondu would have wanted him to have it.
Kraglin with Yondu’s Arrow in Thor: Love & Thunder
This isn’t the first time the audience might have noticed Kraglin using the arrow. Yondu’s sidekick practiced controlling the arrow in a post-credits scene for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, with fatal results. With Kraglin in control of the Yaka Arrow, the MCU’s heroes could be in grave peril. Kraglin isn’t the most terrible of the Ravagers, but he lacks Yondu’s wit. Kraglin possesses the appropriate level of loyalty for a supervillain to exploit, making him a great henchman. A villain might easily influence Kraglin or even take the Yaka Arrow away from him totally.
While the amount of Kraglin’s involvement in Love and Thunder is unknown, the Ravager appears to have a promising future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Director, James Gunn has teased that Kraglin will have a greater role in the future film. It is unknown whether this is due to Kraglin’s ownership of the Yaka Arrow, as well as which side the Ravagers will fight for.
Kraglin isn’t the only character in Thor: Love and Thunder that has acquired a fresh look. As he appears to cycle through a range of diverse clothing, the titular god, yet again played by Chris Hemsworth, begins to question his purpose in the galaxy. Thor will join the Ravagers, an interplanetary gang of smugglers, bounty hunters, and gamblers, according to the teaser clip. In doing so, he foregoes his traditional Asgardian armor in favor of more casual attire. Thor can be seen donning a white shirt underneath a bright red vest, as well as blue jeans with a large belt buckle. He’s also seen wearing a trucker hat with “The Strongest Avenger” inscribed across the front.
