Even though he has separated his route from his ex-wife, he still relies on her as he previously used to do. As per recent reports, he executed his major retirement decision before discussing it thoroughly with her.
Tom Brady Turned to Gisele Bündchen Regarding His Second Retirement
Both the duo put an end to their 13-year-old relationship by announcing their split in October last year. Even though it made them apart from each other, their bond still plays a major part in taking all the crucial life decisions. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced his official retirement from NFL stating he will be leaving the sport “for good.”
However, this major decision in giving himself a second chance at retirement was incomplete without his former wife, Gisele Bündchen, who was “a real rock” in assisting him. They had a proper discussion before he made up his mind to retire from the field.
As per US Weekly,
“Tom and Gisele are on cordial terms,” adding that they “talked this through before he came to the final decision.”
The entire procedure could have been a hassle for him especially when he already had retirement experience. Even though his experience was quite short-term, he was “grateful to everyone” who had been a real help to him in his entire journey.
Tom Brady’s First Retirement and Decision to Un-Retire Reportedly Was The Prime Reason Behind His Divorce from Gisele Bündchen
Tom Brady had previously announced his retirement in February last year. Though many were quite shocked at the news, things went more puzzling when he changed his decision in just a few weeks.
A month later, he announced his return to the NFL. That decision reportedly caused major friction between the then-couple who got engaged in “epic fights” that tensed their relationship.
It was stated that the supermodel was unhappy with his un-retirement decision as she wanted him to focus on his family as well. Due to his hectic schedule, he was unable to spend quality time with his family which eventually dragged their relationship down. The former pair share two kids, Benjamin and Vivian, meanwhile Brady also shares a son, Jack, with his ex, Bridget Moynahan. They decided on co-parenting their kids after their divorce was finalized.
