While appearing in an interview with Deadline, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Peter Parker explained, “One of my favorite things to do at the minute is to go online and watch fans’ reactions to [Tobey and Andrew] coming in that one scene in particular. I don’t think I could ever have imagined it as being so well received by everyone.”

The scene that Tom Holland is referring to is when Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire arrive from across the multiverse, with each actor playing their very own version of Peter Parker from earlier Spider-Man films.

In the film, they were termed as Peter 2 and Peter 3, but a now, new look at the full No Way Home script has revealed that Tobey and Andrew Garfield were known as “Raimi-Verse Spider-Man” and “Webb-Verse Spider-Man”, which well, makes some sense.

Although the entire multiverse crossover was initially intended to be included in post-credit scene, it ultimately ended up being the most stunning moment that eventully helped bring Holland’s Spider-Man trilogy to a satisfying end in a spectacular fashion.

For some fans, it went really well. “I mean, I guess I had an idea that people would love this movie,” he said. “But in no way, shape, or form could I have thought it was going to be as big as it has been.”

No Way Home is a massive hit and has now become Sony’s highest-grossing movie of all time. However. No Way Home star Tom Holland still has no clue whether he will be returning to the role post the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

No Way Home stars Tom Holland as Spider-Man/Peter Parker, alongside Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as their own respective versions of Spider-Men. They’re also joined by Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, and Jon Favreau.
