However, it didn’t take much time for netizens to bombard her with fiery comments and vitriol, as they accused her of cyberbullying Kidman which eventually forced her to delete the post, following which she issued an apology. An outspoken commenter on Page Six noted,
“Are you cyberbullying Oscar and Emmy winner Nicole Kidman right now? Bringing others down is always a sign of our internal insecurities anyway, so the critics here should hold a mirror.”
The subsequent apology was also met with equal controversy, in which she clarified that she joked photo of Kidman because she looked like “an alien” hoping that her fans would appreciate her witty comparison this time. Consequently, it flooded with severe outrage and backlashes and then She came with another apology, “I want to apologize to all the people I hurt posting a photo of Nicole Kidman and alluding to her being an alien,” the comedian said.

Following in the apology for Nicole Kidman, Schumer’s unexpected mention of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis in the fray, raised eyebrows and left people puzzled.
In the apology, Schumer referenced a video made by Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis after they wrote letters in support of convicted rapist Danny Masterson. The comedian, seemingly not holding back her acts, mocks the couple, who met with severe criticism for their apology in the Danny Masterson issue.
“I want to apologize to all the people I hurt by posting a photo of Nicole Kidman and alluding to her being an alien. I will be asking the cast of that 70s show to write letters advocating for my forgiveness.”
She said in the since-deleted post, along with the hashtag “#takingtimetoheal”. And September 14, Friday she finally issued her last piece of sorry on Instagram.
