The Simpsons is all excited as it prepares for it’s new and interesting 31st season. It has already caught the limelight with the Fox animated series releasing the musical clip of Donald Trump confronting the Democratic leadership. The 90-second clip is titled “West Wing Story”. With its sequence run in similar fashion as the Broadway play West side story, it surely creates a significant parody to watch for!

What’s so interesting about the clip

What’s so interesting about the clip
A scene of the horrified Trump

The very first shot opens with trump lamenting the stress and difficulties that came with his job. He then looks at the picture of freshmen congresswomen Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez and Rashida Tlaib. Taking away his frustration, he sings in the style of Stephan Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein’s musical’s “America”.

To his greatest surprise, the Congresswomen come out of the frame and confront him in the White house. The horrified Donald then flees outside to see many other Democratic candidates for the President waiting for him in the similar fashion. The clip ends with Trump being swept away with the crowd of Democratic primary hopefuls. Trying hard to avoid the high kicks, Donald soon inevitably runs out of breath.
