On Thursday, June 9th, Britney Spears’ ex-husband, Jason Alexander was arrested as he tried to crash her wedding with fiancé Sam Asghari in Los Angeles, California. What has the world come to really!!!
Britney Spears & Jason Alexander were only married for 55 hours
Britney Spears and Jason Alexander, who are childhood friends, got married in January 2004 in Vegas during a night out just to call it quits just 55 hours later. In 2020, Jason Alexander showed up at a #FreeBritney protest in Los Angeles to show his support during her conservatorship battle.
He told US magazine “I’m here to show support for the #FreeBritney movement and Britney,” adding, “This is an unfortunate situation that’s been in her life for a long time. It’s affected me and her, and that makes me part of it.”

Jason Alexander went live on Instagram as he crashed the Britney Spears wedding
Jason Alexander went on live on his Instagram as he approached the event’s security. He told them “She’s my first wife, my only wife,” convincing them that Britney Spears invited him. He somehow made it inside the singer’s house and tried to crash the wedding resulting in some kind of physical struggle and his video froze. He was eventually restrained outside as police showed up at the scene.

Jason Alexander already had a warrant for his arrest in Napa County
Initially, he was arrested on suspicion of an outstanding felony warrant out of Napa County from 2016 but then was subsequently arrested for three misdemeanors – trespassing and refusing to leave the property, battery, and vandalism. Plus an emergency protective order was issued late Thursday requiring him to stay away from the singer. His bail is set currently at $22,500.
Britney Spears’ attorney, Mathew Rosengart, tells TMZ he’s “absolutely livid” as he tried to crash the wedding and says Alexander needs to be locked up. He added, “I am personally working with the sheriff’s department to ensure Mr. Alexander is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” Read the full story by TMZ here.
