Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Interactive Special Casts Harry Potter charm’ Daniel Radcliffe’
Daniel Radcliffe will join the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt in the Netflix series’ upcoming interactive special. The first trailer for the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt had dropped in 2015.
About the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
That began a wonderfully weird and hysterical journey into the world of Kimmy Schmidt, a young woman who spent most of her teen years locked up in a bunker, one of several “mole women.”
The Tina Fey-led series focused on Kimmy’s hilarious adventures in New York as she learns to become an adult in the real world, as well as catch up to modern pop culture references.
After three seasons, Netflix announced that the fourth season would be the last for Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) and her friends. However, the streaming subscription service also hinted that it might not be the absolute end of the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and even tossed an idea about a movie to wrap up the series’ storylines. Although season four did a decent job of that already, fans of the series can’t get enough of Kimmy Schand that fantastic theme song that uses auto-tune to hilarious effect.
Kimmy’s Interactive special with Daniel Radcliffe similar to Bandersnatch
Fortunately, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has one more miracle up its sleeve. Kimmy is getting an interactive special starring none other than Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe. In the special, Kimmy travels across three states as she tries to foil the Reverend (Jon Hamm) and get to her wedding on time. Throughout the experience, viewers will get to decide what Kimmy does next and what happens to her during her life’s final adventure. In the process, Netflix promises everything from dancing hamburgers to explosions to a potential war against the robots.

The interactive special will act much like Netflix’s previous interactive movie, Bandersnatch, which has allowed viewers to choose their own adventure as the film progressed. Bandersnatch, which was part of the Black Mirror series, was such a success that Netflix immediately started planning for many such more interactive stories for its service. Now, Netflix has interactive plans for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which will bring back the overabundantly bright star that is Titus Andromedon (Titus Burgess), the over-privileged Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski) and the hilarious rantings of landlady Lillian (Carol Kane).

The addition of Radcliffe to the cast will give fans of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt one more reason to watch, but adding interactivity to the show will allow the series’ humor to shine through even more.
Release
The interactive special will air in 2020, so stock up on bottles of Pinot Noir and get those fudging remotes ready.
