Venom And Garfield’s Spider-Man Are Sharing The Same Reality?
Morbius and Venom’s universe might be the same as that of Garfield’s Spider-Man. With that being said, the latest release, Spider-Man: No Way Home brought in friends and foes from various realities. However, a mid-credits scene revealed a mysterious traveler –Venom.
Furthermore, Eddie Brock and his symbiote were already there in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as shown in the end scene of Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Now, Spider-Man: No Way Home hinted that Morbius and Venom’s universes could be the same as that of Garfield’s Spider-Man.
The Link Between Venom And The Amazing Spider-Man
Spider-Man: No Way Home included many villains from the multiverses. This might look similar to the Sinister Six for the Marvel fans. However, the only member who seemed to be missing was Venom. This helps to seed the idea that Eddie Brock is from a similar universe as The Amazing Spider-Man. Of course, it is quite odd that Doctor Strange’s spell pulled all the villains from Raimi’s Spider-Man movies but only two from Garfield’s. With that being said, Venom should have been there to balance things right with the SonyVerse but it never happened.
Keeping in mind the fact that Venom could easily fit right with The Amazing Spider-Man, there is a reason why they are unknown to each other. With that being said, Garfield’s Spider-Man is possibly not that famous outside New York and probably that is why Venom is not aware of him as he is in California. However, the makers should come up with, for example, The Amazing Spider-Man 3 to allow Sony and Marvel to dip into the proverbial and bring Venom authentically into the Multiversal crossovers.
Venom And The Amazing Spider-Man Are From The Similar Universe?
As far as the stories of The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 are concerned, Garfield’s Spider-Man should have been famous enough to get recognized by Venom. In fact, there was a Spider-Man graffiti seen in Morbius’ trailer, which means that it is going to be in the same universe as that of Venom. With that being said, such arguments do require some really powerful facts to back up. Moreover, The Amazing Spider-Man and Venom sharing similar reality makes sense. Apparently, with the release of Morbius, the exact parameters of the universes could be investigated in detail.
