Shocking new allegations have landed former WWE CEO Vince McMahon in serious legal trouble. In a disturbing lawsuit filed Thursday, former WWE employee Janel Grant claims McMahon r*ped her and trafficked her for s*x. The lawsuit contains lurid details of alleged assaults and abuse by McMahon and former WWE executives.

The allegations immediately call into question McMahon’s current role as executive chairman of TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of WWE and UFC. So far, TKO has only said it is “addressing this matter internally.”

As per Deadline, according to Janel Grant’s lawsuit, the abuse began not long after she was hired by WWE in 2019. Grant says she met with McMahon for a work meeting, where he immediately began making inappropriate s*xual comments.

Over the next several weeks, Vince McMahon allegedly continued to aggressively pursue Grant for s*x. He reportedly called and texted her constantly, pressuring her to meet with him. Grant says she initially resisted but eventually gave in, believing she had to comply to keep her job.

The lawsuit contains extremely graphic details of alleged assaults by McMahon. Grant claims McMahon forced her into unwanted s*xual encounters, including violent group s*x with him and other WWE executives.

In one disturbing account, Grant alleges McMahon defecated on her during a threesome before making her continue s*xual activity for over an hour. The lawsuit accuses McMahon of verbally degrading Grant and physically injuring her during these encounters.

Who Is Vince McMahon?

McMahon began his career in professional wrestling as a commentator for the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF), which was owned by his father, Vincent J. McMahon. He provided commentary for most of the 1970s, gaining valuable insight into the wrestling business.

In 1982, McMahon bought WWWF from his father and soon set his sights on revolutionizing the industry. He took the regional wrestling territories national by staging the first WrestleMania in 1985. This proved hugely successful and established WWE as the premier wrestling brand.

McMahon then faced competition from Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in the 1990s. He emerged victorious from the “Monday Night Wars” by buying and absorbing WCW in 2001. McMahon continued expanding WWE’s media presence by launching the WWE Network streaming service in 2014.

In addition to accusing McMahon, Grant is also suing WWE for negligence. She alleges that WWE enabled McMahon’s misconduct by failing to protect female employees from predation and abuse.

Grant also claims WWE tried to cover up McMahon’s behavior. She says WWE pressured her to sign a non-disclosure agreement in 2022 after McMahon’s wife Linda allegedly learned of the relationship.

McMahon has strongly denied the allegations, calling them “lies” and a “vindictive distortion of the truth.” He vows to vigorously defend himself against the claims.

But the shocking allegations have already upended WWE again, just a year after misconduct claims forced McMahon to temporarily step down as CEO. Now, his position as TKO’s executive chairman is in serious jeopardy.

For WWE and its new corporate parent, the lawsuit threatens to derail the company’s recent resurgence. TKO must urgently address whether McMahon can remain in any position of leadership given the severity of the accusations against him.
