As speculations surrounding Batman and its casting keep on getting wild, fans are now scrutinizing James Gunn. After presiding over the role of co-boss at DCU alongside Peter Safran, Gunn has now become the center of attention as fans drown him with questions regarding Batman’s casting.

Even though there has not been any official announcement concerning the cast of the movie, rumors, and fan theories are going wild. Speculations have been around that in the sequel of Batman Ben Affleck is being replaced by Jensen Ackles. Not only this source also state that Nicolas Hoult, Jensen Ackles, and John Krasinski are all reportedly in the race to become DCU’s next Batman.

Going all wild fans have now taken on to Threads the new social media app to question James Gunn about rumors regarding the casting of Batman’s sequel. Much to the fan’s surprise, Gunn responded saying that he has no idea what the fans are talking about.
He also stated that the studio does not even have a script for the movie and with the ongoing strikes in Hollywood there is no hope that it will be written any time soon.
Taking on to the Threads, James Gunn wrote, “I don’t know what you’re talking about, but we don’t even have a script, and there’s a strike happening, so, no, no casting.”
Even though Gunn’s response has squashed the hopes of many, few still believe that the script is being kept tightly under the wrap.
