‘We have to answer for what this idiot has done’: NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal Blasts Kanye West After Controversial Rapper Called Him Poor
Kanye West never misses an opportunity to get involved in a controversy. The rapper makes an effort with his dubious remarks to grab attention. This time, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal attacked the rapper. Ye’s dubious Twitter remarks have generated a lot of industry gossip.
West is referred to as a narcissist by the NBA veteran. He is familiar with West’s situation because he has been in it himself. The legend believes that tragedies in life make humans humble and patient. He is told by Shaq to stay out of other people’s affairs. He told him to take care of his family’s problems before tackling other ones.

The NBA veteran Shaq criticized Kyrie Irving for sharing a link to Hebrews to N*groes: Wake Up Black America, which sparked a back-and-forth of controversy between him and Ye. Irving received criticism for publishing this. The movie is seen as anti-semitic. West attacked Shaq in an effort to support Irving because Ye is also under criticism. Additionally, the rapper has been tweeting anti-semitic statements.
Shaquille O’Neal commented on Twitter referring to Irving,” It hurts me sometimes when we have to sit up here and talk about stuff that divides the game. Now, we have to answer for what this idiot has done.”
West criticized Shaq over his business in support of Irving. The rapper tweeted it out, “Shaq is in business with Jamie Salter…Jaimie first said he’s 50/50 with David Beckham and 50/50 with I said Jamie Shaq. . . There’s no such thing as 50/50 in business . . . Who has the extra 1 percent for the control and voting rights.”
The legend stated that Ye knew nothing about the NBA player in response. He is not interested in West’s advice because he is wealthier than West. The legend goes on to say that West needs to take care of his family business. In The most recent episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, the host says that he understands West.
Shaquille O’Neal understands Kanye West’s situation
Ye’s qualities are compared by the host Shaq to those of a narcissist. Later, Shaq further describes and categorizes the features of a narcissist as an exaggerated feeling of self-worth, the person wants to be constantly admired by others, and wants to be viewed as superior and possessing special abilities.
Shaquille O’Neal says, “First example when you are a narcissist, mama takes the kids away from you. The second example is when you are a narcissist, things start to just go away.”
Shaq claims that at one point he was also viewed as a narcissist. All qualities of a narcissist were present in him. But as a result of the experience, he developed a humble personality and the proper perspective. Divorce and witnessing the wife take the children away can drastically alter a person. Ye is currently in the same phase. He claims that you must calm yourself down in order to get someplace.
‘‘When mama left, when the kids left, when my career was over,” he said. “You know how you fix that? You gotta humble yourself. That’s why I am where I am now. I don’t look down on people because they’re lesser.”
Kanye West has some unresolved issues. He is still engaged in a divorce case with Kim Kardashian. Julia Fox, her ex-girlfriend ended her relationship with Ye saying that he’s a red flag. Fox knew that his issues were a warning for her not to continue the relationship.
