Hailee Steinfeld opens up about her role in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
Hailee Steinfeld voiced Spider-Gwen in the Spider-Verse series. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she spoke about how the sequel dives deep into Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman’s life. Steinfeld suggested that she was surprised by the script and felt special as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse opens with a lot of Gwen’s story. She said:
“We dug a little deeper into who she is and why she is the way she is, and it’s a big evolution from where she was in the first one. I’ve always loved this character, but I love her so much more in this film from what we learn about her.”
It’s safe to say that Hailee Steinfeld is quite content with her work in the movie. Moreover, her character is arguably one of the most famous and likable characters from the movie.
