As Camille Vasquez helped Johnny Depp emerge victorious in a defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, the attorney will be helping Q’orianka Kilcher, who was charged with worker’s compensation insurance fraud. The attorney will be joined by Steve Cook from Brown Rudnick LLP to represent the Yellowstone actress in court. Statement by Camille Vasquez in support of Q’orianka Kilcher
In July, the California Department of Insurance filed a case against the actress. The case claimed she collected over $90,000 in disability benefits while working on the popular Yellowstone series. While giving a statement to TMZ, Camille Vasquez and Steve Cook said,
“We are determined to defend Ms. Kilcher in this important case which examines the inherent flaws in the disability compensation system. Ms. Kilcher is a well-respected and pioneering actress in Hollywood and we intend to clear her name.”
What to expect from the lawsuit?
A source told that a car collision that happened around four years ago has left the Yellowstone actress “10% disabled for the rest of her life”. The claim by the insurance company stated in 2018 while filming Dora and the Lost City of Gold, the actress “allegedly injured her neck and right shoulder” and took the money. As the lawyers are yet to represent their clients in the court, we might certainly get to hear more about Johnny Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez.
