Teared up man. Grew up watching all the fox films, say what you want about half of them but they built up that legacy for the MCU to take and grow from, alongside the Raimi films ofc. But still, the whole reason i love/was introduced to DP&W is thanks to that era.

It was amazing.
Hits so much harder for ppl who watched them all as they were released and went through the whole ride.— Hani M. Nowailati (@haninow) July 26, 2024
It was very nice of the film to use it meta commentary as a way to appreciate the work that went into those previous movies. Even if there were blunders, it was kind of the film to have a moment to respect the casts and crews that work on those movies.

As the final notes of Good Riddance played, the Fox logo appeared on the screen. It was a nod to the studio that created these beloved characters—a fitting end to an era that made a lasting impact on popular culture.
Marvel Cinematic Universe Became $30 Million Box Office Giant with Deadpool & Wolverine
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has broken box office records, becoming the first film franchise to ever cross the $30 billion mark worldwide. This amazing news was shared by studio head Kevin Feige at San Diego Comic-Con (reported by The Walt Disney Company).
It’s Deadpool & Wolverine that helped the MCU reach this big milestone. The film had a record-breaking opening, earning $96 million on its first day in the U.S. alone. According to Variety, it is expected to make about $200 million in the U.S. and nearly $400 million worldwide.
Since starting with Iron Man in 2008, Marvel has consistently produced blockbuster hits. While Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War were massive successes, even less popular films like Eternals and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania would be big wins for any other studio.
Franchises like Spider-Man, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and James Bond have also made billions, but they still have a lot to do to catch up with Marvel’s superheroes.
Deadpool & Wolverine is currently screening in theatres!
