British singer Adele had a painful divorce in 2019 but if reports are to be believed, she is all set to tie the knot again. Amid these speculations, the Hello singer talked about her state of plight during the most fateful time of her life. Pictures of an exasperated bawling Adele went viral back in 2019 with reports of what a hefty alimony she was being forced to pay her then-husband, charity CEO, Simon Konecki. And now, the 34-year-old has revealed that she was even taking therapy a whopping five times every day to deal with everything.

On December 9, Adele opened up to her fans during the latest ‘Weekends with Adele’ concert residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where she talked about her experience with therapy. She revealed,

“I started having therapy again because I went a few years without it. I needed to start. Before, obviously, when I was going through my divorce I was basically having, like, five therapy sessions a day. But I stopped holding myself accountable for my own behaviour and the things I would say and it’s because I would always fall back on my therapist. But now I am doing it because I just want to make sure I’m topping myself up every week to make sure I can give you everything.”

While on the 7th night of her five-month series, the All I Ask singer talked about live performances and how dreadful she found the ordeal.

“My whole therapy session this week was really interesting. It was about these shows,” she said. “I always get so emotional. I love making music, but there is something about performing live that actually terrifies me and fills me with dread.

That is why I am not a big touring artist. I did it last time to prove I could do it. But this experience of being in a room this size, I think I might be a live artist for the rest of my life.”

It must have been one cathartic session for the Rolling In The Deep singer, being able to talk to her fans one on one.

During yet another live performance on Saturday, the Send My Love singer got all teary-eyed while talking about friendship and its importance in one’s life. She said during the live confessional,

“A relationship falling apart, whether you’re married or not, it’s really difficult and it’s really traumatic. Keep your friends close to you because they’re better than any man, better than any woman. Your friends are for life.”

It clearly seems that she has had friends stand by her like a rock in her hard times. Especially during her divorce from Konecki with whom she shares a 10-year-old son. She is currently in a relationship with sports manager, Rich Paul, and if reports are to be believed, she is already willing (and forcing Paul) to go the distance merely a year after dating.
