After the announcement of Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle, Henry Cavill’s fans cannot wait to see him in yet another espionage movie.
In Argylle, Henry Cavill would be seen moving around various locations like London, the United States for his high-profile missions. Matthew Vaughn’s UK-based studio Marv has laid the foundation for this ambitious project. The studio would be coming up with at least three movies. The inspiration for Argylle comes from the book by a similar name written by the emerging author Ellie Conway. The movie also talks about the connection between fresh literary talent and an already established set of filmmakers. During an interview with the reputed media house Variety, Matthew Vaughn spoke about the espionage thriller. He mentioned-
“When I read this early draft manuscript I felt it was the most incredible and original spy franchise since Ian Fleming’s books of the ’50s. This is going to reinvent the spy genre.”
The cast of Henry Cavill’s spy movie is star-studded with prominent names from the world of entertainment like- John Cena, Samuel L. Jackson, Catherine O’Hara, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Ariana DeBose, Sam Rockwell, and rockstar Dua Lipa. From the ensemble cast, it is quite evident that Argylle promises a grand cinematic experience. Apple has already walked that extra length for Henry Cavill’s spy thriller.
The company has forged collaborations with reputed studios to ensure the theatrical release of its movies. As Paramount Pictures is responsible for the distribution of Martin Scorsese’s much-hyped Killers of the Flower Moon, starring Leonardo DiCaprio which is set to release in October similarly Sony Pictures has taken charge of Ridley Scott’s Napoleon, a historical drama featuring the legendary actor Joaquin Phoenix.
Henry Cavill Will Not Return As Superman
The news of Henry Cavill not returning back as Superman went on to break millions of hearts across the world. The actor had announced on his social media platform that he would no longer be playing the superhero. The post mentioned-
“I will, after all, not be returning as Superman. After being told by the studio to announce my return back in October, prior to their hire, this news isn’t the easiest, but that’s life. The changing of the guard is something that happens. I respect that. James and Peter have a universe to build.”
