Who are Daughters of Liberty – Industry Insider Confirms New Female Superhero Team is Coming to MCU
The Marvel Cinematic Univers never fails to excite its fans by introducing unexpected and thrilling characters within the universe. And now it is said that it could introduce a whole new team of female superheroes in the coming future.
How thrilling it would be if a whole new all-female superhero team joined the MCU. This would not only excite the Marvel enthusiasts but would also profit the studios in terms of female representation. The Daughters of Liberty are no new characters o the comic books in which they are found fighting for various causes.
An All-New Female Superhero Team Rumored to Enter The MCU
This news came from a reliable source MyTimeToShineHello on X (earlier Twitter) which never fails to spill the tea. This is getting fans excited to witness the rumored new all-female superhero team famously known as The Daughters of Liberty whose roots lie in fighting for various mighty causes and have a significant connection to American history. Proficient in both martial and arcane arts, this all-female superhero team mainly focuses on fighting against oppression and that is where Peggy Carter got her start.

After this post came out, it was reported that a Daughters of Liberty journey will probably feature Peggy’s niece, Emily VanCamp‘s Sharon Carter, a character who has been overlooked in the MCU thus far and who intensely requires her own story.
The comics included Daughters of Liberty fighting to prove Captain America innocent who is wrongly accused of the murder of General Thaddeus Ross which will be taken over by the actor Harrison Ford in the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World movie. However, as for The Daughters of Liberty, they are still fighting in the comics for what they are made, and their adaptation in the MCU should be taken with a grain of salt until it gets verified.
Not Every Fan Is Excited After Witnessing The Rumor
Now that the rumor has spread all over, some fans are anticipating it already and some suggest Marvel studies focus on the existing ones. There is no doubt that the MCU’s ensemble of heroes has been disproportionately male-centric and mostly focused on the male superheroes in the universe. However, if they introduce The Daughters of Liberty in the MCU this could help them in the female superhero representation.

Although there has been no confirmation of the MCU adaptation of the Daughters of Liberty, there are speculations that the potential team members in the MCU could be Sharon Carter, Misty Knight, and Bobbi Morse.
