American Actress Joey King is engaged to the director and her longtime boyfriend Steven Piet with the sweet proposal you might have watched on screens. The couple started dating in 2019 with the actress mentioning herself as the “luckiest lady alive.” She had been critically acclaimed for her role of Gypsy Rose Blanchard in the Hulu limited series, The Act. Steven Piet is a film and television director, producer, and writer. He is popularly known for his work in Hulu’s The Act, where he served as the co-executive producer and directed two episodes titled Free and Plan B. According to his IMDB profile, he worked as a cinematographer, digital imaging technician, and editor on other projects. He also wrote and directed the film 2015’s Uncle John, and worked as a consulting producer on Nightflyers in 2018, based on a series of short stories by Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin. He is also known for directing USA Network’s Briarpatch and Channel Zero.
According to Seventeen, Piet had collaborated with director Erik Crary on various projects after Uncle John, the duo had signed a deal with Universal Content Productions in 2019, which means they would be working together on more projects in the future. He attended the Savannah College of Art and Design as a film major and directed several projects in Chicago( where he was raised) including broadcasting commercials, music videos, and short films.
