A source close to the Royal Family has revealed that Prince William will never forgive Prince Harry. The chances of reconciliation are close to zero as Prince William will not forgive his brother for opting out of royal life. The tensions began in 2017 when Prince Harry revealed that he would like to marry Meghan Markle.

Prince Harry got married to Meghan Markle in May 2018. He then decided to quit royal life in January 2020 and moved to California with his wife. The brothers recently spent time with each other after their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II’s demise.

On Thursday, Kate Nicholl, author of The New Royals — Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown appeared on Dan Wootton Tonight and talked about Prince Harry and Prince William’s relationship. The author said Prince Williamsimply can’t forgive” his brother,

“He always thought Harry would be his wingman, now he’s doing it on his own. Thank goodness he’s got Kate by his side.”

Queen’s demise brought the two brothers back together recently as they spent time together during the walkabout.

Kate Nicholl further revealed that their relationship took a hit in 2017 when Prince Harry told Prince William that he is thinking about proposing to Meghan Markle. The author revealed that when Prince Harry hinted that he was about to propose to Meghan Markle, Prince William reportedly asked, “Why rush things?” to which his brother angrily replied, “Who the hell do you think you are?

The Duke of Sussex then got married to Meghan Markle in May 2018 and left the royal life behind in January 2020.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, the Duke of Sussex said he feels sorry for his father and brother because they are “trapped in their royal roles” and “couldn’t leave as he did.” Meghan Markle added that she had suicidal thoughts as she was completely ignored by the family.

The Duchess of Sussex recently explained in an interview that they stepped away because, “just by existing,” she and her husband were “upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy.
