Whopping Salary Difference Between Amber Heard and Jason Momoa in Aquaman 2
The ongoing defamation trial of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp has taken a toll on their professional life. Depp has been kicked out of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and now it’s time for Amber to let go of the role as Queen Mera in Aquaman 2. Fans truly seem to be manifesting her replacement from the Aquaman owning to her weak case against Depp. Several petitions have been signed to have Heard out of the movie. And it has been revealed that Jason Momoa bagged a much greater amount for his role in Aquaman than Amber Heard.
Because of her continuing feud with ex-husband Johnny Depp, Amber Heard alleged that her role in Aquaman 2 was decreased. According to new rumors, director James Wan and star actor Jason Momoa were adamant about including the actress in the film. However, her pay doesn’t speak for the rumors.
Amber was paid truly less for Aquaman 2
Heard allegedly put in five hours of daily training only to arrive on the Aquaman 2 sets to find out that her role has been “diminished.” Kathryn Arnold stated in the ongoing Johnny Depp defamation trial that action scenes were “cut out” and her role was “radically reduced.” Jason Momoa’s pay was reportedly increased from $3 million to a whopping $15 million. Amber, on the other hand, was only given $2 million since she was “fighting for her life” to be a part of Aquaman 2.
Amber should have been allowed to renegotiate her contract and take home at least $6 million, according to Arnold. “ He’s causing his own demise by bringing these lawsuits forward and continuing to ignite the fire of negative publicity around both of them,” she added of Johnny Depp’s loss.
Amber’s reduced role might be validated by the amount of hatred she is bagging due to her ongoing trial. Fans desperately want her to be replaced by Blake Lively or another star in Aquaman 2. Even though Warner Bros. has owed all her replacement rumors to the chemistry between her and Jason Momoa, we feel that there is something fishy. Let us all wait and see how this turns out.
