“Who’s that?”: Harry Styles Ignored Ashton Kutcher Because Kutcher Didn’t Know Who the Singer Was
There is no doubt that Harry Styles is one of the most well-known artists of this generation. Especially after his solo career took off, his songs have not failed to top the charts. Nowadays it would be a bit surprising if somebody had no idea who Harry Styles was, however, there was a time when one celebrity could not recognize him. Styles had also been among the guests at a party that Ashton Kutcher and his wife Mila Kunis had been attending once. However, at the time, Kutcher admitted he could not recognize the As it Was singer. The Valentine’s Day actor had been impressed by the crooner’s singing in a karaoke session at the party. But only after Kunis informed him did he come to realize the identity of the singer.
Ashton Kutcher Could Not Recognise Harry Styles Once
Recently, Ashton Kutcher revealed an embarrassing moment of his life involving Harry Styles. While sitting for an interview with Esquire’s latest episode of Explain This, the actor opened up about not recognizing Styles in the past. According to him, during a party thrown by his neighbor, a person had got up to the Karaoke and sang an ABBA song. At the time Kutcher remembers being impressed by the singer. He and his wife Mila Kunis even went to praise the singer. However, the No Strings Attached actor had absolutely no idea that the person had been the Watermelon Sugar hitmaker.
The actor admitted not being able to recognize the name itself. According to him, after his friends told him about the identity of the singer he had just praised, he recalled being,
“And I was like, ‘Who’s that?”
Although One Direction was one of the biggest boy bands at the time, Harry Styles has come a long way since then. And these days it would be impossible for many to not recognize who he is. His solo career really upgraded everything about him. He has found his musical niche and is undoubtedly thriving.
What is Ashton Kutcher Up to These Days?
According to his recent interview with Esquire, Ashton Kutcher fans will watch him in a rom-com once again. The actor is set to make a comeback in the genre with Netflix’s Your Place or Mine starring Reese Witherspoon. Kutcher seems to be very happy working with the Legally Blonde actor saying,
“I’ve always wanted to do a rom-com with Reese Witherspoon”.
And apart from that he has also appeared on That 90’s Show recently.
