“Why on earth would you reveal that?”: Lady Gaga Seemingly Endangering Her Fans With One Highly Irresponsible Act Could Land Her in a Heap of Trouble
Lots of people dream of catching Lady Gaga live in concert. But something she recently admitted might make you think twice about her commitment to performing. Gaga, known for her high-energy performances and passionate connection with fans, recently revealed a surprising detail about her 2022 Chromatica Ball Tour.
The pop-star went full-on Gaga for the premiere of her new HBO concert film, Gaga Chromatica Ball, in Los Angeles on Thursday night. Rocking black hair, bleached eyebrows, and a white outfit, she debuted the film in true theatrical style. There, during the fan screening, the 38-year-old admitted to performing five shows while infected with COVID-19.
Risky Move by Lady Gaga Threatened her Fans’ Safety
During the premiere of the Gaga Chromatica Ball, Lady Gaga participated in a short Q&A session with Access Hollywood (via EW), where she spoke candidly about the packed stadiums and pumped-up crowds on The Chromatic Ball tour. Soon after, she surprised fans with a reveal: “I did five shows with COVID.” The New York City native explained her decision, stating:
I shared it with everyone on my team. I said, ‘I don’t want anyone to feel uncomfortable at work and you don’t have to perform and you don’t have to work that day, but I’m going to do the show’ because I just didn’t want to let all the fans down. And the way that I saw it also is like the fans were all putting themselves in harm’s way every day coming to the show.
Instead of gasps, the audience seemed to cheer for her dedication. They looked impressed by her commitment to the tour. However, the singer’s admission has divided her online fans.
Fans’ Reaction on Lady Gaga’s Recent Revelation
Lady Gaga’s recent decision to perform on her 2022 The Chromatica Ball tour despite being unwell is getting mixed reactions from fans. Some praise her strong work ethic and commitment to fans who waited a long time to see her — especially after the tour’s delay due to the pandemic.
However, others are worried. They believe performing when sick put not only Mother Monster’s health at risk, but also exposed the audience and crew to the virus. With COVID-19 still a serious concern, these fans think she should have prioritized everyone’s health and postponed the shows.
Ummm why on earth would you reveal that? You just giving yourself backlash because you’re putting the health and safety of not only yourself, but THOUSANDS of people at risk…

Also, check out those reactions that supported her:
important context:
1. The places she has performed to required proof of COVID-19 vaccine in order to get the tickets. everyone was vaccinated.
2. the shows were in OPEN stadiums and she is hundreds of feet away from the audience. No reported cases from the tour. pic.twitter.com/kS4Pex0KQA— pop culture gal (@allurequinn) May 24, 2024
so everyone here trying to say something was still locked up in their house isolated 2 years later? she was vaccinated around a group of the same 30 people for 4 months and they all knew when she was sick & consented to performing… CALM DOWN 🤣

The 2022 Chromatica Ball Tour was a big deal for the A Star is Born actress — marking her first ever stadium tour. It was a shorter run with just 20 dates, kicking off in Germany in July 2022 and wrapping up two months later in Miami.
Gaga Chromatica Ball will be available to stream on May 25, exclusively on Max.
