“You have captured my heart”: Rami Malek’s Heartfelt Message For Ex-girlfriend Lucy Boynton Still Stays Fresh in Memories as He Tries to Move on After Their Breakup
Mr. Robot star, Rami Malek, and actress Lucy Boynton previously starred alongside each other in the 2018 biopic of the British rock band Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody, where Malek played Freddie Mercury and Boynton played his onscreen girlfriend, Mary Austin. While the couple managed to maintain their romance in secret for five long years, recent reports say that they have parted ways.
Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton Part Ways Quietly
Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton, who have dated for the past five years since 2018, have recently split. Malek and Boynton split earlier this year without much fanfare. As an inside source shared,
‘They were together for a long time but had grown apart. They are both moving on with their lives and are busy with work.’
The sources close to the star revealed that they are now both busy with their lives and their work. After the breakup, Malek found solace with his close friends. He has been relishing his free time and making every moment count. He also reportedly flew into the UK to watch Bruce Springsteen with the singer at BST Hyde Park last month.
“Rami has surrounded himself with his mates and has spent the summer enjoying himself,” adding, “He asked Emma to join him to watch Bruce at BST last month, and they had a great time. Rami is enjoying life and living it up.”
The pair, who has now grown apart, had an ebb and flow together, which was attested to Malek during his 2019 Oscar acceptance. Malek, who won an Oscar for his performance as the late Freddie Mercury, paid tribute to his love while accepting one of his many laurels at a film festival gala at the time. “Lucy Boynton—you are the heart of this film; you are beyond immensely talented; you have captured my heart,” he said at the time.
Rami Malek’s and Lucy Boynton’s stellar roles in Hollywood
Malek most recently appeared in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer as David Hill, a nuclear physicist. His remarkable performance was also seen in Bohemian Rhapsody and as Elliot Alderson in the Mr. Robot TV series, which garnered him widespread acclaim worldwide. He also appeared as the main villain, Lyutsifer Safin, in the latest James Bond film, No Time to Die, alongside Daniel Craig.
Besides her breakthrough performance in the Queen biopic, Boynton started on the path to stardom. But before this, she showcased her talents in the 2017 movie Murder on the Orient Express. Boynton has taken on a variety of roles, and her most recent one as Proust Barbie in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie demonstrates her flexibility as an actress and affirms her place as a rising star in the entertainment world.
