During the conversation with Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, who now serves as the new co-host on the show, Ryan Seacrest cracked a hilarious joke about his departure from Live with Kelly and Ryan. He said,
“I got out just in the nick of time. I have to say, I’ve been watching you guys are so great together. I love it. I love Mark Consuelos doing the teases, I love the promos I see, I love the games.”
The former morning show host also revealed his daily routine, stating that he no longer wakes up early after leaving the morning show. Seacrest shared,
“So what I do is the alarm chimes in the morning, it’s like a soft nudge. I walk through the forest, and I look for the beans of coffee. I take them back; I roast them. I milk my almonds, and I make a latte. Now, it’s noon.”
