What Led to Gisele Bündchen’s Decision to Divorce Tom Brady?
The news about Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady’s possible divorce has been up for a while. According to inside sources, the Victoria’s Secret model was “concerned” about her NFL quarterback husband Tom Brady. She did not like the idea of possible deep injuries that Brady could get while playing. She explained herself on Elle a month ago saying,
“This is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” she also added that she has “definitely had those conversations with him over and over again.”
Bündchen also shared that her husband’s profession demanded too much time. Consequently, Brady was hardly home with his wife and their 3 kids. To make matters worse Brady had been busy with NFL amidst the rising marital issues.
The final straw for the supermodel was when Brady un-retired from NFL by returning to the field in February. That worsened the situation further and finally led to Bündchen deciding to quit their marriage once and for all. Sources have shared that the two have already started living separately. Recently the model was spotted without her wedding ring.
“Don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be,” an inside source of the couple shared.
It was reported that both of them have hired high-profile family attorneys for the divorce settlements.
Tom Brady Shares His Thoughts and Admits He is Struggling
Earlier it was reported by sources that the NFL quarterback had been hurt by his wife’s decision. However, even after receiving the news of a divorce, Brady was hopeful for a reconciliation. Following that, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback shared his thoughts in his podcast titled Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, and Larry Fitzgerald. Brady admitted that he was struggling with the ongoing marital issue. He shared,
“There’s things I’m going through in my 40s and it’s life.”
He further added, “And you learn to grow up and you learn to deal with life. And that’s what we’re all trying to do. We’re trying to do it the best way we can.”
Talking about mental health, Brady shared that he often held himself to a “certain standard that we’re almost inhuman,” and added that he was “immune” to lots of problems in life that some people cannot struggle to deal with.
Tom Brady rejoined NFL as a quarterback for Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 2022, after retiring only about a month earlier on February 1st.
