“You owe me the price”: Charlie Hunnam Asks Conor McGregor to Pay His Debt Amidst Reports of UFC Legend Making His Comeback This Year
Charlie Hunnam has shared his appreciation for the mixed martial artist, Conor McGregor on several occasions. He even credited McGregor as an inspiration to portray the lead in Guy Ritchie’s 2017 fantasy drama, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. He even shared that he wishes to fight McGregor. Not just Hunnam, Ben Affleck has also said that the martial artist inspired the fighting style of his DC character, Batman.
However, despite having a successful UFC career and inspiring many Hollywood stars for their roles, he went on to climb the ladder of debt. The UFC fighter reportedly owes a certain amount of money to The Gentlemen star and Hunnam has demanded his money back.
Charlie Hunnam Wants Conor McGregor to Pay off His Debts
The Hollywood star Charlie Hunnam once mentioned that the UFC fighter Conor McGregor owns a good amount of money to him. The Last Looks star shared that he got the opportunity to present the UFC fighter with the Mixed Martial Artist of the Year award.
Being a McGregor fan, he was excited to present the award to him and did not want to look “shabby” in front of him. So, Hunnam went on to buy a “very very expensive suit” for the occasion. The Irish martial artist is known for having a very good fashion sense and is popular among his fans for his fighting and dressing skills.
So, Charlie Hunnam probably did not want to disappoint McGregor. However, just two days before the ceremony, he learned that Conor McGregor changed his schedule and would not be able to accept his award himself.
After sharing the story with the host, the Green Street star said, “So, Mr. McGregor, you owe me the price of a very good suit.” He also shared that the suit cost him around $4,000, and he has been looking forward to getting the money back from the UFC fighter.

He also revealed that the Irish UFC star would be facing Michael Chandler in the Octagon as he announced McGregor’s comeback almost two years after his last appearance.
Conor McGregor broke his leg during a match with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
