Kanye West has become one of the most controversial rappers in history after his recent anti-semitic rants surfaced online. His continuous rants hurt the sentiments of many, however, he chose to stand on the same adding fuel to the fire by expressing his admiration for Adolf Hitler and Nazis in a recent interview.
The disgraced rapper’s actions are being criticized by the world. Amid his case, a clip of Bill Burr surfaced online in which the latter was spotted speaking about the rapper.
Bill Burr Compares Kanye West to Adolf Hitler
The 54-year-old stand-up comedian, Bill Burr during a 2017 stand-up show expressed his opinions on the controversial star, Kanye West way before his recent actions.
Though it’s well known that the latter’s history has been filled with controversies, however, no one would have expected that the actor would compare West to Adolf Hitler.
Burr performed on the Netflix special Walk Your Way Out in 2017 stating,
“Next time Kanye is going on by himself, I’m telling you just close your eyes forget it’s him, and really listen to what is coming out of this guy’s mouth.”
“He says s**t like- ‘I’m a genius, I’m God, I’m Shakespeare! My biggest regret is I’ll never see myself perform live!’ That’s a direct quote. ‘My biggest regret is I’ll never get to see myself perform live.’” he added.
“Dude, you put that ego in a white dude then…” he stated and started yelling in German by imitating Adolf Hitler.
Who could have thought that the ex-husband of Kim Kardashian would go on expressing his admiration for Hitler years later after Burr’s remarks?
Kanye West Admires Adolf Hitler
The father of four recently appeared in The Alex Jones Show and expressed his love for the German politician by stating at one point, “I like Hitler.”
His admiration for the dictator was seen when he stated,
“This guy… invented highways, invented the very microphone that I used as a musician, you can’t say out loud that this person ever did anything good, and I’m done with that.”
He went on to state that he loves Nazis as well. His recent rants have surely highlighted him again in the public eye as his anti-semitic remarks he stated on his social media platforms and interviews affected his career a lot. Due to his statements and actions, brands that were associated with the rapper have already terminated their contracts. Even after that, he chose to remain steadfast in his views and continued to affect his image.
