The MCU performer highlighted that she did not need the opinions of a “40-year-old white male” to set the film’s impact on women of color and individuals.

“About a year ago, I started paying attention to what my press days looked like and the critics reviewing movies, and noticed it appeared to be an overwhelmingly white male.”
