5 Times Kat Dennings’ Darcy Proved She’s Sassier Than Tony Stark
Thor: Love & Thunder thundered into theaters on July 8. And after just a few months of some fan speculations on whether Kat Dennings’ Darcy would make an appearance in the movie; it was confirmed when she appeared at the start, to console Jane while her chemo treatment was going on.
Darcy Lewis is a fan favorite, mostly because of her dialogue and personality. Even then, she might be serious and add to the story arc in many meaningful ways, especially in the world of WandaVision, where she goes against SWORD and tries to help the Vision, dying.

At the very start of Thor (2011), Darcy is seen driving Jane and Eric toward the anomaly that is Thor’s banishment. When the storm looked worse, Darcy utters these words while the car is turning around.
At that time, Darcy was a student intern working for Jane, and she wanted to do what she could for the astrophysicist, but getting into certain death wasn’t one of those things.

Darcy returns to the MCU in a more serious tone with Linda’s appearance in WandaVision.

Darcy, at the time, reacted just like the fans, and she was not very happy that he had a peculiar face. Marvel fans seemed quite mixed on this twist when the episode aired, with many hoping that this could be what connects the X-Men to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

To save the android Vision, Wanda goes on to extend the hex, turning all the SWORD agents into circus folk. Darcy became an escape artist but later confessed she would have been a bearded lady rather.
Everything seemed fantastic about this moment. Even under the control of Wanda, Darcy is quite funny. Obviously, she would be a bearded lady rather than her current act. It seems a lot cooler to her.

Darcy appears in the most recent Thor film as one of the fan favorites, even if it’s only a blink-and-miss case. She visits Jane at the hospital to support her friend during her chemo treatment.
This is the only Love & Thunder scene where Darcy appears in, but it’s evident that she cares about Jane’s well-being. Compared to most of her dialogues, this line is more thought-provoking.
